How Do I Register?
Individual Registration Options:
1. Pickup
If you feel you cannot commit to a team or participate in many of the league games, then pickup is your best choice. Pickup games are free, you don’t need to sign up for insurance, and you can come and go as you please. Anyone of any age (within reason) is allowed to play in pickup games. See our pickup game schedule for details.
2. Team
If you can commit to the league night games then you have the option of joining a team. You can either speak to a team captain about open spots on their roster or you can contact WUDL (WestmanUltimate@hotmail.com) and we can try to help you find a team that has room. Once you have found a team, either add your name to their roster sheet or print off an individual registration form and hand it in to your team captain. Team fees vary depending upon the number of players per team, but the cost per individual is usually between $20 and $30. In addition to team fees, there may be a fee for team jerseys if your team chooses to have them. You must be 16 years or older to participate in league games.
3. On-Call
If you are unable to join a team, but would like the opportunity of playing in league games, contact WUDL (WestmanUltimate@hotmail.com) to add your name to the on-call list. You will need to fill out an individual registration form and pay the insurance fee, usually about $11.50. If any of the league teams are short players for a game, they will call and invite you to join their team for the evening. If a team finds it is frequently short of players, you may be invited to join the team permanently. You must be 16 or older to be eligible for the on-call list.
Team Registration:
To register an entire team, each member must fill out and sign a team registration form.
Team fees and an official starting roster are due the day of the Start-of-Season Clinic. The team captain or delegate is required to attend league meetings to ensure the team has the latest league information.
If you are thinking about registering a team, please give the league notice. We need to ensure that we are prepared for the number of teams.
Our advice for creating a team is to have a minimum of 7 women and 9 men. It is possible to register fewer players but the team will be at risk of being short players for every game.
If you have a group of people interested in playing but not enough to form a team, let the league know and we will try to help you recruit a few more players.
